Straw bag with fringes in collaboration between Projeto Akra + Neriage
The Akra project aims to value artisanal labor and slow fashion, where each accessory has its production time respected, made from buriti and piassava fibers. Today, your project makes an important difference in the income of several families in Maranhão and Bahia, in addition to having training headquarters in Peru and Madagascar - where the bags and hats for this collection were made. The pieces were made with ecologically harvested raphia fiber and the tones in the collection were given with certified Reach pigments. The fiber is transformed into beautiful crochet pieces, with exclusive stitches and fringe embroidery developed by local artisans from the Akra Project for Neriage.
